We need the Auto Attendant / Voice mail to tranfer / forward calls to a cell phone after hours. Will the centrex transfer feature work with 3 way calling if the pots line are not centrex ?

Is there any other way to get the auto attendant / voice mail to transfer calls to a cell phone ?

Would this be like emergency or all the time? You could have the A/A transfer to an extension that is forwarded to an outside number (providing that you have an ACS R6 or 7).

Only drawback is that you would be using 2 phone lines. 1 for the incoming and 1 for the transfered call.

Thats one of the problems I'm running R5. I read a posting that mentions hookflash transfer but the telco tech I spoke too has never heard of such feature.

Hook flash transfer is a centrex feature. Some lecs have that feature available on some pots lines. Here in Wisconsin TDS Telecom does offer it, but it is a feature, so you need to call to have it activated.

if you get centrex feature. you can do a hook flash and the transfer off net (free up your line again) to another ext. you would have to dial a 9 to get out though. (most likely)

To continue; there is non centrex service and the system is running R5.

It is possible to transfer calls via the Auot attendant to a cell phone?
