Partner Messaging Day/Night & Business Schedule

We recently upgraded to a ACS 7.0 and Messaging 7.0 with a version 6 VM 4 port card and using only auto attendant #1.

I have assigned a night button on X10 and have set the auto attendant to switch to night using the button AND the business schedule. I have verified the schedule and the settings but the system does not switch automatically at the programmed times per the business schedule. Instead we have to use the manual night button as before.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Use either the "follow switch" mode or the "follow busines schedule" mode. Don't use the "both" setting. It didn't work properly in the R1, and I don't know if it ever got resolved.

If you use the follow the business schedule setting, you can still put a night service button on ext. 10, which will control the number of rings before answering (and if you want, whether or not the AA answers at all), while the business schedule will control which message answers when it does pickup.
