I have a modem connected to my partner acs system for uploading a large file late every night at the same time. My server access allows me only to upload at a certain time. The upload is about 1.5 hrs, and about 15 minutes before it's done, the modem disconnects.....i have deduced the problem with an Avaya tech to be the 'Daily Maintenance' feature on the Partner Messaging Release 1.0 module....this daily maintenance terminates all calls on the ACS...Avaya wants $400 to dial in and change the maintenance time....
I read through the online guide for the Partner messaging...it states that with a service technician level login, i can change the time myself....the password is the same as the system admin password that i set....DOES ANYONE KNOW OF THE SERVICE TECH LOGIN?....i can't believe they wouldn't tell me....I can just as easily hyperterminal into the RS232 port...any help would be greatly appreciated...
