2 questions.

On a Partner Messageing 7.0 what are the qty 4 999* voicemail boxes used for?

How are poeple leaving a message in 1 of them? How do they accidentally get to those boxes.

Mark

9991, 9992, 9993, and 9994 are the general mailboxes. Each one is assigned to an auto-attendant by default. So, 9991 is assigned to auto-attendant 1. During Night service, the default for 0-out's is to transfer the caller to 9991 to leave a message. You can change this to send the caller to extension 10 if you prefer.

Do you know where the setting is to change the "0" out to 10 during the night mode?

Log into the System Administrator's mailbox, then 9 for programming, 3 for Auto Attendants, the AA number, 2 for Night, 6 to modify, 0 for the timeout/0, 9 to confirm change, listen to the options and pick your poison, *# to finish, # to keep the current recording.
