i want to be able to call into the system and change the greetings and record new greetings. When I call in i hit *7 then ?

0, #, (Admin password), 9....etc

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

When you call in and the auto attendant answers, press "# 7". The auto attendant will say "Welcome to Avaya Partner Messaging". Then press the "0 # ....."

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Oops....I mean press "* 7" then "0 # ....."

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Try it this way.....

From a system telephone press the button to access the voicemail system

The auto attendant will say "Welcome to Avaya Partner Messaging. Please enter the extension followed by the "#" sign".

Press "0 #"

Any difference?

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Which voicemail system does the system have? If it is a Partner Mail VS, the Admin extension is 99 as opposed to 0.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

I am not on site. I am trying to remote in to do this so the customer can be givin instruction to change system greetings from home.

When you call into the system and the auto attendant answers, press *7. What does the the system say?

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

If it transfers to the Receptionist when you press *7-0#, it is NOT Partner Messaging. Probably VS mail. Try *7-99#
