Hello,

I have a system that is auto attendant answer. The customer wants option 1 out of auto attendant to ring multiple phones. I don't think this is possible, am I correct?

Put the phones in a Calling Group. You have 4 to choose from, 1-4, whose extension numbers are 71-74. Make Selector Code 1 transfer to Ext. 7X. Be aware that callers can no longer transfer to Ext. 10 through 19 if they insist on using Selector Code 1.

Also consider what should happen if no one in the group answers the transferred call. There are ways of getting the call to Ext. 10 and eventually 10's mailbox, but it isn't pretty with VS mail.

Thanks TTT! Good info, I'll have to ask what they want for overflow.

Take TouchTone Tommy's advice... ... Leave selector code 1 alone (Direct extension transfer) and Selector code 2, if you have working extensions in the 20's or expect to in the years to come.

Start with Selector code 3 .... save yourself lots of headaches down the road.. .. ..

It's a restaurant so they won't really be giving out extensions, but I totally get what you're saying. Thanks.
