Processor is an ACS R6.0, VM module is Partner Mail VS r5.0 My client wants to add a second business to his all ready established business. The second business would have their own lines and telephones. I was going to use the unused AA of the R5 for the second business. Can I create a second AA extension other than Extension 10 for the second business?And would it operate like AA attendant Extension 10? Would I use procedure #607?

Still assign the lines to the auto attendant through #206-7-LL-1
Assign the number of rings through #506-1/2-LL-X

In the VS-R5, in AA No. 2, 3, or 4, select option 6 for Line Assignment. Any line NOT assigned to AA-2, 3, or 4 will be answered by AA-1

In the AA that you choose, you can set the Dial-0/Timeout option to transfer to any extension that you choose, so if the Reception/Operator for the 2nd company is Ext. 20, set the 0-out to that.

Remember to go into the mailbox for each user that belongs to the 2nd company, and set option 4, Personal Operator, to go to the company's Reception/Operator as well
