I just installed a Partner Mail VS system.
With 4x40 expansion card.

I plugged everything in, I think I programmed everything right. Our last extension is 51, the VS is in the last slot on the second case, so the Hunt Extensions should be 54, 55, 56, 57 right?

Anyway, Intercon 777 gives a busy signal.
intercom 54, 55, 56, 57 also give me a busy signal.

What can I do?
This is brand new out of the box, it shouldn't be bad.

Anyone have any ideas?

thanks

I have a release 3.0.

It supports it.

After more investigation, I notice that after about a minute the power light turns off, but I can still hear the Hard drive spinning.

So obviously thats why I can't connect to it.

Any Idea why the power light would go off after a while?
It happens in other slots too.

thanks

You can try calling the individual extension numbers to see if the VM picks up (verifing you have the correct ports assigned). If not, let us know the configuration of your carriers and we can advise you as to the correct ports.

When you installed your new mail did you just shut down the power in the second carrier, the pros may have trouble seeing the mew vs mail . the correct way to do this is power down both carriers( i hope your standby battery is ok) wait 5 sec. power up your expansion carrier ,wait 5 sec. power up your main carrier
