We have a partner acs 3.0
a partner vs 5.0 with 4 port card
System was struck by lightning.
The processor hard drive was replaced.
The partner mail vs was replaced.
Processor in center slot, vs in 1st. the only 2 cards we have in the system.
I have assigned the hunt group 7 ports correctly. You dial the extension and you get to voicemail.
The voicemail boxes are set up correctly as you can dial the extensions and go to the voicemail box as the rings are assigned.
Now the problem....
You leave a message and the light on the extension lights up for a new message, so far so good.
Now youu go to get the message and the voicemail says that you don't have one.
You create a voicemail greeting for an extension and you call the extension, but you get the default voicemail greeting.
When you shut the system down for a reset, the light goes out as if you never had any messages.
It sounds as if the voicemail cannot or isn't saving anything or ahs any sort of memory.
I checked the programming on the system and there were a few settings set for a DXD and ASA, but I removed the settings.
Does anyone have an idea or resolution?
