Partner Mail VS 5.0 cleaning

Greetings,
You all have been a great help so far with my "new to me" replacement for my old Partner R2.0 206 x 2. As a recap, I have a 206ec R3.1, 206e R3.1, Processor 4.1 and Parter Mail 5.0 with a 4 port card. Using #989 and the associated clearing password I was able to reset the processor. However, it did not clear the VS 5.0. I still have the previous owner's messages and password. When the procss was attempted the card remained inserted. It was suggested previously that I contact a Avaya contractor in my area (Berkeley, CA). Today that was attempted with no one able to do it due to it's vintage. Any suggestions, subtle or not so subtle hints or advice welcome?

Thanks, but I already tried the oct 01 recommendation, however that requires the knowledge of the password.

I tried locating an Avaya partner by entering
2-100 employees
USA
Product Support Group or Partner ACS USA
Partner Mail VS 5.0
Berkeley, CA or 94705
miles
20 and 250

and each time received this message:
no location found within the radius of your search area (sbl-uau-00159)

Any other suggestion or hint subtle or not so subtle?

That is something that can be fixed by phone.

Thanks to all that have helped me with my quest.

This is a GREAT resource.
With a little investigative persistance one can find a fix for one's problems.

My "new to me" Partner system works great.....thanks to this forum.
