The caller is greeted by the AA. The caller is given options: Press 0 for the Receptionist, Press 1 For the Dr., Press 2 for the Assistant, Press 3 for the Hygienist....etc.

I would like to be able to have this option too:

"If this is an emergency, press 5 and you will be connected with our Human Answering Service."

When the caller presses 5, I would like them to be forwarded to an outside phone number where they can speak "live" with my on-call service. I do not want them to have to leave a message and have the system Outcall requiring the log in to the system by the receiver of the outcall.

I would like it to be a direct call forwarding. Is this possible?
If so, how?

Cheers!!!!

If you have a ACS rel6 or 7, you call call forward, pick an unused ext set it up for call forwarding, and set your selector code five to that ext.

I have Partner Mail VS 5.0.

Can I do it with that?

I'm sorry, I have a Partner II release 4.1 with Partner Mail VS release 5.0.

Cheers!!

In a word "NO" unless you have Centrex service thru the phone company.
