How can I tell what release version Partner Mail I am using. It is the old box on the wall.

Partner Mail does not tell me what release version it is when I log onto ADMIN like Partner Mail VS does.

after entering the admin user, and pw, try pressing 7, i think on some of the vm's it states the release number. not sure which releases this works for,, or not.

See what the class of service goes up to in mailbox admin. If it goes from 1 to 9 its a release 1. release 3 is 1 thru 6 and 15 thru 23.

the defualt greeting voice is diffrent to , but you have to thave worked on a few to recoginize that

If the Auto Attendant's answering is made up of the "Auto Attendant Greeting" (found under option 7 - System Greetings) AND the "Automated Attendant Prompt" (found in the usual place, option 3 - Auto Attendant), it's an R1.

Since there's no R2, the only other choice is R3, which doesn't have the Auto Attendant Greeting "feature"
