I have a few Partner Mail PM04 units to repair/test etc.. on at least one of them it boots up but I can not log in with serial number as the password.
As a test, I swapped the Hard Drive from a working unit to the trouble unit, it boots up and works, but I had to use the serial # of the working unit to log in.
So that means the password/serial number is stored on the HDD, which tells me the HDD must have been swapped at some point.
How can I reset the password if the serial number is not working?
