has anyone had a problem w/ the pc card large going out of service w/a message on extn 10 that says something like please reinsert card when reinserted vmail works for a day or two and then does it again i'm trying to determine if this is a problem w/vmail or proccessor any help whould be apprecated

I never heard it say reinsert card but I have had it say mailbox full when there are no messages. Do a system default on the voicemail and reprogram it. Login in to the admin port and press 9998925327 and wait for it to say the system will be restored to factory settings (or something like that). Make sure it says goodbye before you hang up.

If you get a message on 10's display ("insert valid card"), it is not seeing either the RAC card when trying to do a backup, or an ASA/DXD card when trying to record a prompt or a line is being directed to ASA or DXD without a card installed.

Clear the message with #123-3

Make sure automatic backup is turned off if there is no green backup or silver Remote-access backup card in the system

turn it off with #121-2

If you can, try another VM card. Steal one from the demo unit? Possibly try the other PCMCIA slot? It sounds like the slot or the card has an issue,
