PARTNER MAIL PASSWORD RESET

Can anyone tell how to reset the partner mail admin password?

I did this:

int 777
99#
2537

Then I was promptly rejected.

What am I doing wrong?

Also, how to you suggest I ground the Partner system? My unit is near a breaker box. Do I have to string a cold water ground? That would be a challenge due to the distance, but I'll do it if I hafta.

This is drewmich, try E-mailing him. He is very knowledgeable with the Avaya switches..

If this is a Partner Mail, NOT Partner Mail VS, (that is, a stand-alone external voice mail box), try this:

Int. 777
9997#
The serial number from the Voice Mail and "#"

The system _should_ say "goodbye"

Now cycle the power to the Voice Mail, wait for it to re-boot, log into 9997 again, and you will be asked to set a new password.
