Partner ETR phones with IPO v8

Please don't send me to RTFM, already did and know that maximum 18 ETR phones can be used in PARTNER edition only.

My questions is:
Back with v5-6 using Expansion Modules DS400 we could connect ETR phones to IPO without limitations. Is this still true with IPO v8-8.1?

No you couldn't - ETR phones are 4 wire sets, and DS are 2-wire digital.

Maybe you're thinking of 44XX sets from the Magix?

Indeed, ETR phones never worked on DS400 modules at all.

Thanks guys. I'm not really strong with Magix\Partner since I was born after it became history (as telco tech) ))))
I think I messed 4420D+ phones with ETRs.

ETR Phones are Enhanced Tip Ring Phones, or fancy POT with 4 wires.
The 44xx Phones are TDM Digital, and only use 2 wires.
