What is the best Partner Carrier version you can suggest.

I understand that the older versions had heat and ventilation issues causing modules to overheat and burnout.

I am looking at the 2 to 5 slot versions.

The new 5-slot carrier is probably the best way to go, even if an install is using only 2 modules.

Modules are spaced further apart than the older 5 module carrier and the small 2 module holder.

If desired, the cover on the new 5 slot carrier can be left off with no ill effects on the Partner modules.

If an install is going to use only the main processor and nothing else, you can mount the processor directly to the wall.

The new 5 slot is better all around than anything else. I'm not a big supporter of the 2 slot.

Thanks. Do you have a modle number for th enew 5 slot? Also, do you recomend changing out an older 5 slot which contains the older cards two of which have already gon in for repair, the PROC and the VM modules.

What is the best place to get them, MetroLine, eBay, etc.?

BTW when you compare pricing some are sold with covers and some are not "Let The Buyer Beware

Metroline is good. I do my business with them. Avaya Business Partners are also a great bet.
