Hello,

I have an Analog Extension on my system (X17) and am wondering what functionality I have with this. Transferring calls being the main thing I'm trying to accomplish. Is this something I can do on an analog extension?

Program the Auto Line Select for the single line extension to be Intercom, followed by Line 1, Line 2, etc. This will give you Internal dial tone when you go off hook so you can dial other extensions, or dial code for features. Dial 9 for outgoing calls.

To transfer a call, Flash, then dial the extension you want to transfer to. If you dial * before the extension number, you will do a Voice Announce to the other extension. If you hang up after the announcement, or after the first ring for non-voice announce, the call will ring at the other extension and cover to their voicemail if not answered. If you stay on the line until the other extension answers, you can talk privately with the other extension, and then hang up to complete the transfer.

If you flash and dial your own extension number, the call is put on Park. To retrieve the call, dial 6 followed by your own extension number. The call just appears on hold to everyone else, so any key set can just grab the line that is blinking.

If someone hollers that there is a call holding on Line 1, dial 6801 (6 for Pickup, 8 for Line, 01 for Line 1).

Voicemail is 777, internal paging is *71, loudspeaker paging is 70, simultaneous paging is *70
