Has anyone ever seen this: I have an ACS R3 (I believe) at a remote site that is having issues with lines. Two new extensions were added to the system. Right after that, they started having this problem that whenever a phone goes off hook it is selecting 2 lines at a time. Programming appears to be ok. I don't have access to the system directly. I'm relying on the end user to relay info. Never saw this problem before and not sure where to go other than master clear and program from scratch.

Copy from a know working extension? That will eliminate programming errors.

Try the phones plugged directly into the control unit to eliminate wiring issues.

If it is two lines ringing at the same time, it is a #505 issue. If they are truly going off hook to make an outbound call and grabbing 2 lines, I've never seen that.

short between 2 extensions (1 wire touching)if my memory is right had that effect on one of the systems in the past.
try it with a partner set directly on the processor / expansion and see if that still happens.
