Hi I have AVAYA Partner ACS 7.0 with 5 lines I want to bring 3 more lines and change POTS lines to T-1, what I need to do and how to program system?

Thanks

While you don't list the current makeup of the system, from a hardware perspective, you'll need to add, at a minimum, the T1 module.

But...yes...as CarGoSki suggested, read up on the what the T1 module can & can't do and see if it fits your needs.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Unless you are creative in your application and configuration,
don't expect much from a DS1 on a Partner, because its capability is extremely limited!

T-1 on a Partner can be great. I have several installed and customer satisfaction is high. One auto-dealership has a 12 channels of voice with a mix of wink lines for DID and auto-in lines for other applications on the same facility. The remainder of the T is split off for data and the service provider can burst data to up to the full 1.5 meg when there isn't any voice traffic. No it isn't PRI "no caller ID" but it gives additional features to a Key system.
Just my view.
