I'm being asked to recommend configuration and help setup a Partner ACS system for a small (< 10 people) medical office. I have no experience with Partner ACS, having only worked with Merlin systems.

In general, what are the major differences between the systems? Superficially, it seems that Merlin is geared for larger systems, better networking, more CTI, while Partner ACS seems to be simpler, yet offer more user features (such as superior Caller ID handling), though limited to fewer lines/stations.

Are there Merlin features/qualities that I take for granted that will be missing in Partner?

Hi jlshelton,
That a very hard question to answer. The Partner is better suited to a small office. You will find that it's much easier to program. I have experience with both systems and each has it's place.
If you run into any snags, just post your questions as always.
