After a Lightning Storm last weekend, all of our Phone lines were down. I have a Lucent ACS Partner System> Can anybody help me reset it. Please HELP!!!
Do you have your ACS in a 5-slot carrier? If so, you may have blown the fuse in the carrier backplane.
Remove the AC power cord from the left side of the carrier, remove the ACS from the carrier, and plug the cord directly in the back of the ACS. If it powers up, suspect the carrier unit. Remove all other modules, and plug the ACS back in. If if powers up, add one module at a time (powering down while connecting modules), and see if you can bring it back up, or find a bad module causing everything else to fail.
Barring that, call your vendor and have them bring some spares out with them!
