Is it possible (ACS 7.0) to have incoming CO lines ring once and then only flash? This would be when phone is idle. Delay ring doesnt solve this. Thanks.

Hi telpro,
What colour is the flashing button? It sounds like it was answered and put on hold. You might want to cycle the power to see if that fixes it.

Abbreviated ringing is designed to do that for you when the phone is in use, but NO, there is no way to have an idle extension with immediate ring only make one ring signal for an incoming call for the duration of the ringing.

thanks guys. I didnt think this was possible. I didnt witness this but was told "it used to do it".

Another famous customer statement. We get comments like that often.

I suppose it is possible that VMS coverage was set to 1 ring so the voice terminals sounded once, VMS picked it up, and then transferred it to the requested extenstion. That MIGHT give the appearance as described.
