I was unable to connect to 3 different new Partner ACS R7 processors using my old 12G1 remote access cards. I tried a 12G5 card purchased from a vendor and it still did not connect. However, once I removed the R7 processor from the 5-slot carrier and used it in stand alone mode, I was able to connect with the 12G1 and 12G5 cards. Is there a difference between the 12G1 and 12G5 remote access cards? If not, I’ll return the 12G5 card. I have enough 12G1 cards to use for programming processors in my lab.

Are you using a 103H5 Backplane? Ive seen some really weird problems with the R7's not being in the new carriers.
