Partner acs R7 paging both external and phones

Is there a way to page both external and phones without being interupted? All phones are in calling group 71. When a user dials intercom *70 or press page button to page both loud speakers and phones. The page is interupted by a user picking up their handset at the same time. It works like a meet-me-page. Is there a work around?

You would do better to post in the Partner forum, but the answer is "no". This is how paging works on Partner. Can you train the users to press a line key while on hook if they'd like to place a call during a page?
