partner acs R6 troubles

been having trouble with whole install of new acs R6 partner system
problem 1: on ext 11 when putting ext 11 in programing mode and looking at line assignments on button one it says OUTSIDE LINE 1 and on button two it says OUTSIDE 2 VS when looking at 3 and so forth it says IMM RING L3 and so forth through the rest of line buttons,also when in program mode the line buttons (1) and (2) have no lights as the rest all have steady green,i can access dial tone on line 1 and 2.
problem 2: partner messaging : when the backup restore card is inserted (the credit card size card)is installed into the messaging card (its a 6 port card) the main card stays a amber light) with the card removed i get a steady green,but when accessing mail int 777 i get system in test mode my guess is to get a new 6 port exp card the(the small card )as far as prob #1 i have no clue!!

Hi johnrobert,
Default the processor and do a reset. Make it stupid. The easiest way to make sure is to pull the batteries & turn it off. When you restart, reset all and save that to you back up card. Reprogram the unit. That will work for sure.
At ext 10 or 11, when you go into program mode it may take 10 to 20s for the first lines to show up.
On the voicemail, you may in fact have a bad license/ back up / restore card. Make sure you give the voicemail 5 min to get it's act together before you condem it though.
