Ok here is a new one I haven't seen. Client calls the VM (intercom 777), the first port takes 4 rings to get to VM then it answers. If you call VM again, goes to the second port and goes in right away, call in again, goes to 3rd port and VM answers right away, call in again, goes to 4th port and VM answers right away. Call in again it goes back to the first port it takes 4 rings to get into VM. It should not take this long to get to VM. Client is also saying at times they cannot get to VM, could be the 4 ring delay, not sure?
Here is what I did.....Powered down phone system, pulled out VM card and put back in. Powered up, same problem with first port of VM. I then took away the first VM port ext in #505 group 7. The problem moved to the physical second port of the VM. Also checked #321 and #320 but that doesn't change anything.
Intercom 777....Ext 24 rings 4 times then VM answers
Intercom 777....Ext 25 VM answers right away
Intercom 777....Ext 26 VM answers right away
Intercom 777....Ext 27 VM answers right away

Any ideas what the problem is? Cards are configured slot 1 206EC, slot 2 partner messaging, slot 3 processor r6 acs, slot 4 308ec, slot 5 308ec. I have not moved the VM to the last slot due to them having a ton of exts after the VM. Doing so would screw up everyones exts, but I suppose this is another option to try? Let me know if you have any ideas on this problem.
