so can someone share exactly how to configure caller id so the user can look up past calls? Also - does it only work for calls ANSWERED at that extension?? or can any extension view any call that rang on their phone even if it was answered at another phone?

any help would be appreciated
 

Assign Caller ID Logging to each Extension, #317-(Ext. No.)-1
Associate the Lines with the Extensions, #318-(Line No.)-(Ext. No.)
Assign ONE extension to log ALL calls, even if not answered by that extension, #319-(Ext. No.)
 
Just from my past experience, it might be worth mentioning to your users that once they are finished reviewing calls they need to press the CID button again to turn the feature off. I can't tell you how many complaints I have received about phones "not working properly" when all they need to do is exit out of the CID. ;)
