Hi Tek Tips pros!

I've been assigned the task to setup this ancient phone system for a customer. Here is what i'm trying to do and the problem. I am trying to setup a 2 line system; when either of the 2 lines rings, I want an AUDIBLE ring to the receptionist phone (ext 10/11). After 4 rings and no pickup, I would like the VMS system to pick-up and prompt the caller to leave a message.

Thus far, we have installed and reset the system to default settings. What it currently does is pick up after the 1st ring, says "we are unable to process your request", then a vms mailbox greeting initializes.

We have the manuals but have had no success, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to assign your voice mail ports. List all your equipment (in orderand)and someone will be able to help you.
