I'm installing a Partner ACS R1 with a 206E module. The customer needs voicemail for about a dozen users. What would be the best suitable VM solution? Any help is graciously appreciated!

Bruce nailed it.

The Partner Voice Messaging (large) works out nicely for users who need 12 or fewer voicemail boxes.

I'd go with the Partner Messaging R7 module using the 2,4, or 6 port license. This module has the capability of 200 mailboxes. This way if they expand their phone system they will have more than enough mailboxes for expansion or phantom exts.

Another option would be a used Partner Mail VS module. I would go with the VS R5.0. This module is a 2 port VM but can be expanded by a pc card to make it a 4 port voicemail and has 48 mailboxes.

The Partner Voice messaging PC card that "brucealmighty" mentioned is not compatible with the ACS R1. It is only compatible with the ACS R1.1 or higher. If the client is looking to expand in the future then I would not recommend this voicemail to them.

Is you ACS release 1.0 or 1.1? It needs to be a 1.1 or higher for the PCVM to work.

If they are planning on using immediate answer by an auto attendant, don't use the PC card mail it is only 2 ports

I decided to get the PCVM large for my R1.1 and everything has turned out great, thanks for the suggestions fellas!
