I am trying to forward an incoming call to a cell phone. I have the extension (17) set up for remote call frd assigned
and have Feature 11 17 *80 80 being the personal speed dial for the cell phone number. I cannot get this to work. The voice mail keeps picking up even though I have the extension set-up for 9 rings. The call never tries to access an oputside line. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Don,t need the * in front of 80. Station 17 has to be the only phone ringing on incoming calls for the forward to work or it has to be a transfered call to that extension from another extension or from the V-Mail System.
To unforward your phone press feature 11 dial 17 17.

Jack of all, master of none!

In order to forward an outside call to an extension's personel speed dial the call either has to be transfered or if the line is a "private line" only on that extension assign line ownership #208 for that line to that exrension.

*80 is if you have a t1 and you want your ext. to ring as well as your cell phone.
