Partner ACS Outside Line Direct to Extension

Hello and thank you for making this forum possible.

I have a Partner ACS 5.0 system (3 lines, 8 extensions) and a Partner Mail VS 1.0 module. I am using two of the outside lines coming into the automated attendant.

I would like to add a 3rd outside line, and have this line ring independently of the automated attendant, and go right to one of the extensions. If the extension doesnt pick up, I would like VM to cover.

I have the ACS manual, but since I am not a phone system programmer, I am not sure what features need to be enabled to make this work.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Give that station Line Ownership and make sure it has voice mail. Also make sure that the new linr isn't assigned to #206 group 7

Actually for line ownership the line gets assigned to #206 group 7 option 3. With the Mail VS you will also have to assign the line to the extension in #208.

I don't use 206, I just assign 208 and give them Auto VMs and set the rings.
