Can you setup an announcement to play before the main AA's on a 6 line Partner ACS R7 then go to their respective AA depending on which line it came in one?

Thanks

Here is a better question. Caller calls in. get AA depening on which line (already works fine). Then I setup a Submenu or Announcement the caller can dial into and the caller then needs to be kicked back to whichever AA they got depending on which line they used. Will *# put them just to AA1 or the AA that they came in on before the heard the Submenu or announcement.

Thanks.

*# will back you up one level, and if that means to the AA, it will be the AA that sent you.

0 from a submenu is whatever it is set to in the AA that sent you there.

*4 is repeat the current recording.

*7 is start from the top of the AA again, unless you're already at the AA, then it is log into voice mail.

will an announcement automatically kick them back to whatever AA they came from?

Announcements have limited functions. It plays the message, and if the caller doesn't do anything, it disconnects the call entirely. You can't dial an extension number from an announcement, unless you dial *8 first. If you dial 0 from an announcement, it will take you to whatever the Dial-0 option of the AA that sent you there is set to. *# will back you up one level, to whatever sent you to that announcement, be that a submenu or the AA itself. *4 will replay the announcement, *7 will take you back to the beginning of the AA that you encountered when you started.

If you want to loop back to the AA that started, you can add a phantom mailbox that points to the auto attendant. Then you set the Dial-0/Timeout to go to that extension, which is answered by the AA. Use a submenu instead of an announcement, just don't set any selector codes. But note, from the original AA you can't reach the Operator, unless you dial the extension number directly, or you use a selector code from 1 to 9 to get there. Dialing 0 or nothing will restart the AA.
