Partner ACS R3.0 with (2) 308 E, (1)206E and Partner Mail.Complaints of wrong number being dialed (intermittently), both external and internal calls. This from Ext10, 12 & 30, so it is not the same card. I thought DTMF generators were on each card, so I not sure of cause. Thanks for any help.

Try switching desk sets between a known working extension and a suspect extension to see if the problem follows the telephone. If it does follow the telephone then the telephone would need to be replaced, especially if it is an older MLS style.

In intermittent situations, get as much information as possible. Find out what telephone number is being mis-dialed, from what ext, on what line. Ask the customer to document, or do it yourself. Many times when you ask for this kind of documentation the problem goes away, because it was user error in the first place.
If a CO line, swap the lines, by switching two lines in the telco hunt group on the system CO ports. If it follows the CO line, check the telco. If it follows the CP port, looks like a CO port problem. If you have a free CO port, switch to another one , and reprogram the line appearances, and ringing, AA ringing etc.
If at certain exts, swap the phone like it says above.

You do not always get what you pay for, but you never get what you do not pay for.

Touch tone recievers are a system wide resource they are not specific to the card they reside on. The 308 308ec 400e & 400ec have 2 TTRs each, 206e 206ec & 200 cards have 1 each.

Your configuration has 5 so it would be one out of 5 calls that would give you problems.

I would take aarenot's and dexman's advice and do some line and phone swappin' and have the customer keep problem log
