Partner ACS 8.0 & PMSG R7 time won't sync 2

Have an interconnect who says he can't get his R8.0 509 processor to sync time with his PMSG R7 mod.

2-3 hours off.

He reboots the 5 slot w/ the 509 set to the correct time but leaves a message in his main mailbox right after reboot and its a few hours off?

Don't remember a "set time" function on the PMSG mods? I remember you could on the standalone Merlin/Partner Mails and MLM007s #2 - set time.

Any ideas. He isn't having issues with the 509 maintaining time (I know some of the cable CO carriers can reset time of the 509s due to their NOC time zone location ... but that doesn't seem to be the issue.
 
Check though #505-7 that ONLY the Partner Messaging extensions are assigned. The ACS communicates with the Messaging via the 1st port for time sync, day/night service, and other system messages. If a lower extension number is in the hunt group, it won't be receiving those messages.

Confirm the time on the phones is correct, and stays correct after receiving an incoming call with caller ID
