Client wants his main phone and two others to ring simultaneously then go to his voicemail if unanswered. This is pretty simple in the IP Office world as I could use a "group mailbox" as his very own. In partner I cannot get the group to have a voicemail box or vm to kick in anyway after ringing via the group. The group is chosen off an auto attendant choice, ext 71 for example. The extensions ring but VM on any of them does not seem to kick in since the system knows its a group call. Any way to give him what he wants with a partner? Thanks in advance.

I think what you may have to do is play with the transfer return on the VM ports. It has been a while but i think that is what i did.

Program the Transfer Return Extension for each of the VM ports to themselves, instead of Ext. 10 (#306)

Put the Extensions into a Calling Group, such as 71, and have a selector code transfer to that group.

Create a mailbox for 71, "With a phone".

The Transfer Return Rings (#105) controls the number of rings before the call comes back to voice mail.

Mailbox 71 will answer, and take a message. Because you have a Release 7 Partner Messaging, you have a couple more options. You can select someone's personal mailbox to be the "phantom receiver" of mailbox 71, so the messages go somewhere that has a MW light associated with it, and the messages don't get lost. OR, you can assign an unused General Mailbox (9991, 9992, 9993, or 9994) as the phantom receiver, and assign an extension as the owner of that "general" mailbox. Now it can light up somewhere, but that person doesn't have to give everyone access to his personal mailbox to be able to get the messages. (You will find phantom mailbox settings in the System Administrator's mailbox, option 8 when programming mailbox settings)

thanks TT Tommy that helps a lot, will try this out now.
