Is it possible to program a button to park a call? Right now they would have to transfer the call to thier own extension, then dial the extension they want to transfer. Can the first half of that be programmed?

Thanks.

Put an auto intercom button for your OWN extension on your phone. That is your park button. Pick a button without a light, or put a piece of tape over the LED's, under the desi.

To park a call, press transfer and then press your park button.

I'm curious and always wanting to learn something new. What would the park button be used for? I have installed tons of these and never have had anyone ask for or even mention a park button.

Pool Mode, or S/L Cordless phones. You transfer the call to yourself, and use Intercom-6-Your Ext. No. to retrieve it.

after i hit transfer then my extension nothing happens. Am i missing something?

Oh i forgot something. What is a flash button? I do not have it on my phones, do i need to program it as well to get call parking to work?

After you press Transfer and your own extension, you will hear silence. Hang Up!

To retreive the call, from any extenson, press Intercom, dial 6 and the extension number that parked the call.

Single line phones need a Flash button to transfer calls. Flashing on a S/L phones will bring you to an Intercom dial tone. A Flash button on a Multiline phone will flash the CO line, for Centrex transfer or Call Waiting.

Oh so people who do not have access to the line4 button will be able to pickup the call. Great.
