PARTNER ACS 6.0 WITH PARTNER MAIL VS 4.0 3

Hello

I have a situation that has come up . I have a customer who has a partner acs 6.0 with partner mail vs 4.0 . The problem is that when the user has their DND buttons activated the outside caller dial the extension thru the voice mail but never gets the callers greeting it says TRANSFERING CALL TO THE OPERATOR never goes into voice mail. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
 
IT SEEMS IT MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH VMS COVER AND CALL COVERAGE WHAT DO YOU THINK

There is an incompatability with VS Mails before R5.0.11 and ACS R6s of the latest release.

The when reaching an extension in DND, the ACS will send mode codes that the VS mail does not understand, thus it will do the "Transferring to Receptionist..." routine.

Since you have R4, you cannot flash the VS mail to make it compatabile, so you must NOT use DND.

Well im not sure what the version is its 6.?? i will check in the morning when i get on site what should it be or does it work it all on 6.?? thank you for your support
 
Another question i have will this work on partner acs 3.0 proc
 
The voicemail should work with the R3 processor.

I would suggest purchasing an Avaya Partner Messaging R7 as it is the current "high capacity" voicemail for the Partner ACS and it will work properly right from the get-go with the R6 processor.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
