It's been a long time since we connected a single paging horn to a Partner ACS processor.

The Valcom V-1030C horn is 5W - 24VDC and self-amp.

We have 4 wire cabling run to the Valcom which is approx 750 ft from the Partner 509 processor.

We are using the Valcom VP-624B 24V PS.

Wiring it directly to the paging port on the 509 Processor .... T/R = Green/Red

Wiring the Black/White to the 24V PS.

I don't remember ever using a UPAM or similar paging interface on a single short run self-amp 5W horn.

Am I missing something?

On a 509 you have to use a trunk port and set it in programming to be a page port.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

I mis-typed.

It is a Partner ACS 308 R6 processor w/ the dedicated paging port.

I second what exsmogger says. Try to page with your butt set bypassing the whole partner acs. If you can get it to page with valcom supplying the power and your butt set supplying the touch tones then you can move on to the partner system to trouble shoot. You need to break the problem in two so you can trouble shoot it.

Hope this helps
