Customer has a Partner ACS R7 that took a power surge and fried. A new processor was installed and the system was reprogrammed (they didn't have a B&R card on the first one, but one was put in on the replacement processor), but the old processor had three door phones connected to three trunk lines, not extensions. I know you can do two door phones on #604 & #605 for extensions, but am not familiar with programming door phones on trunk lines on the ACS. Can someone explain if you need to program anything on the processor to enable them to work correctly? Let me know what other information you need.

If the door phones are on trunk ports, then they generate ring and talk voltage to the ACS. You would assign the line buttons to the phones, but take them out of the Auto Line Select, so people don't access them for outbound calling. Probably give them unique line ringing as well.

Ok, I believe I see where you're going. Assuming these would be lines 7, 8, and 9 (system has six actual lines), just assign them to the extensions with #301, but make sure they're not selected in ALS on the centralized programming? And then finish up with #209 for lines 7, 8, and 9?
