Partner ACS 3.0 with Messaging r7 w/6 port card

I have the messaging module installed in slot #4. When callers call in they hear a pause and then: "your call is being transferred" and calls transfer to ext 10 (as programmed). I am trying to program the system, how would I to "turn off" the messaging until programming is complete so that all calls ring as if there is no messaging system installed or change the number of rings before that message plays? This is a used module and I cannot access any mailboxes, can I delete or reset them? I do have the general messaging pw. Also, is an install and programming guide available online?
 
You have not programmed the extension numbers of the voicemail ports into hunt group 7.

If all you have is a Partner ACS R3.0 and the Partner Messaging is in Slot 1 of the carrier, then the extension numbers of the voicemail ports are 18-19-20-21-22-23 (based on a 6 port license card)

So, program #505-7-(Extension Number)-1 for each of these, then they will stop answering on the 1st ring and playing the transferring message, and you will be able to access the system with Intercom 777.

If you have any other cards in your system, post back with each card and which slot it is in, so that someone can give you the correct extension numbers to program.

Once you have that in place, you may find that the voicemail is in its initial state, and upon the first login to the system administrator's mailbox, you will set the password to whatever you want. If you are unable to get in, then you will need to contact someone OFFLINE to have the password reset (and perhaps the voicemail system defaulted), as these passwords and procedures can NOT be posted publicly.

Thank you. From left to right. Slot 1 = 308 module, slot 2 = 308, slot 3 = ACS Module, slot 4 = Partner messaging r7.
I reset all of the mailbox passwords and able to access voicemail 777, 0*, 9.
 
The ACS in the center slot is Ext. 10-17
The 308 in slot 1 is Ext. 18-25
The 308 in slot 2 is Ext. 26-33
The voicemail ports on the Partner Messaging in slot 4 are 34/35/36/37/38/39 - these are the extension numbers that need to be assigned to hunt group 7

 
I have "intercom dial tone " set to 1 but after programming hunt group 7 it rings like a regular dial tone on all phones when you p/u the intercom.

You have now put ALL of your extensions into hunt group 7, instead of just the voicemail ports. Go back and do #505-7-(Extension Number)-0 for EVERY extension from 10 through 57, and also 78 and 79, then do #505-7-(Extension Number)-1 for JUST the voicemail port extension numbers pointed out above (34/35/36/37/38/39)

This will stop the voicemail from answering any incoming calls, and no extensions will cover to their mailboxes, so it will function just as if the Messaging was not installed.

Once you do that, you will be able to access the Messaging with Intercom 777

Then you can assign lines to be answered by the automated attendant with #206-7-(Line Number)-1, the delay before answering with #506-(1=Day/2=Night)-(Line Number)-(Number of rings from 0 to 6), and specify extensions that should cover to mailboxes with #310-(Extension Number)-1
 
Did you mean #505-7-(Extension Number)-2 (Not Assigned)?
The only options were 1=Assigned or 2=Not Assigned

Yeah......slipped a digit there! Make EVERYTHING except the actual voicemail ports UNassinged, and the voicemail ports ASSIGNED.
