Good morning, I'm new to programming the Partner system and am trying to program the 'Call log all calls' feature button on extension 10. This feature existed on extension 11 previously, button H. I went through the programming procedures listed in the manual on ext. 10, and everything seemed to take, but it didn't work. I didn't see where the manual told you to select a button to program this feature on. Am I missing something? Do you need to remove it from the original ext. first? Thanks in advance for the help, TT

Go to the phone (in your case station 11) that is programmed for the caller ID features and press Feature 00 then push the a button with lights that you want to use and press Feature 23, then Feature 00 to end. That will set up the button for Call Logs

I'll give it a try this afternoon. I remember seeing something about that feature programming in the manual, now that you mention it. Thanks for the advice, TT

Hey Tel-Prog, thanks for the help. I was able to make all the phone changes in about an hour. Hopefully that time will decrease as I get used to programming from a phone, but they're also looking to upgrade to 6.0, so I'm hoping to be able to set up a dial-in connection instead for programming. With that, I was told to upgrade the system from 3.0.3 to 6.0, I would just need to insert the new flashcard and the system would do the rest to upgrade itself, although that seems way too easy to me. Do you know what is entailed with doing an upgrade like this? They also have Partner VS voicemail, R5 I believe. Thanks again, TT

You do know that you can program remotely with R3, if you are only upgrading for remote programming you are wasting your money. Do you have a backup restore, and remote card in it now?

A trusted source for years.

I'm not sure about what is in the system now, I haven't cracked the cover on it yet. The upgrade is for the customer to be able to forward their calls off-site to a cell phone, when the call isn't answered at their desks. They also want to be able to set up an off-premise extension and use a time-of-day routing on that extension so calls will only route to it on evenings until about 9pm and weekends the same. I didn't think R3 did that, but read that R6 would do at least the off-site forwarding. Do you know if R6 is capable of time-of-day routing or the off-premise extension? They live within 5 miles of the office. I do know they don't have a modem connected to the system to dial into for remote access, but had heard you can be transferred in? What type of software is required? I normally work on a G3si using ASA or Terranova. Thanks, TT
