I have a Partner 8.0 recently installed to replace an NEC system. The customer has paging with music and the same music on MOH. Both amp and Partner need an RCA plug and both RCA plugs operate fine on the amp but neither works on the MOH. I have shaved off some of the sleeve to the RCA for the Partner RCA. I am left to beleive the partner requires an input level other than 600 OHMS and the music source is not 600 ohms. We are usijng an early version of an IPod for music.

I've been able to use specific older iPods on Partner and Magic without matching transformers, but most won't work without distortion. The Partner RCA jack accepts a max 2V at 50kΩ, so let that be your guide.

You might also try adjusting the volume with the #614 programming code.
