narrowing the problem down , after a complete restart of system phone 12-d started making a loud DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO noise and didnt function at all. un plugged it for a few min then back in it seemed to work ok for a while then dead bad phone? or bad 206? other 2 phone on system seem to be working fine.running 2x206 3 lines 3 phones.ver 3.0

Does this happen in a different port with the same phone? Try it in one of the ports of the switch you currently have a phone that is working on. If it works good, bad port, if it has probs, bad phone.. Matt Wray

The problem is the MLS-12 phones. The buttons flex starts shorting out will randomly short buttons out. The choice is to get phone repaired or replaced the new euro phones don’t have a flex; a new flex should last for 3-5 years. I had
