new style Partner 18D phones come with a standard size sheet (8.5x11) of labels (4), is there any software to use to print labels ? Thanks

desi software works w/ desi labels, any software to work w/ labels inc w/ phone? thks

We here have exhausted all means and have found that because they are sideways (landscaped) instead of straight up. No one seems to make a program that will work. I even tried to line it up using excel that was pretty disaterous! Sorry for the bad news!

I know some people have used Excel to generate templates.

I found a way to print on the included desi labels, but it is a bit of a pain to do.

After downloading desi.com's program, I fill in the template and print it out on a regular sheet of paper.

Then I carefully line up a desi over the printout and carefully tape the very edges of the desi to the paper.

I then put the paper/desi combo back into the printer and then print the desi out again.

Most of the time I get excellent results. But using desi.com's stock works best. [smile]

sounds like more than .50 (the cost of a desi label) worth of labor.

I guess if your times not worth anything to you [wink]

Hey guys, you can tell Excel to print in landscape mode, instead of the default portrait mode.

I made a spread sheet, fiddles with the cell height and width, and am now able to type in what I want the button to be labeled, set them all up, and run through a laser printer.

again I have to question the time involved in cutting them up and fitting them in .

I think I have a copy of the excell template , I suppose Ill give it a try some time and see how time consuming it really is .

I have a excell templete I made up for the nitsuko onyx years ago (long before desi ) and I recall trimming and placing the strips to be a major PITA

Hey Skip!

I've actually gotten pretty good with the system. I can churn out those desi labels pretty quickly. [bigsmile]

But, I do most of my printing with desi.com's blanks and their computer program. Except for the unique "Avaya" logo, the desi.com 18D stock prints out quite nicely (especially if you use a color printer to make the "AVAYA" logo red)!

For some reason the 34Ds tend to be a little harder to print properly. Unless I really reduce the font, the printing in some of the squares looks off center while in most of the other squares it looks fine. The backing paper helps a bit, but I still can't produce a flawless 34D desi. [sad]
