We installed a 5.0 ACS processor and a 012e exp mod, tech has the 5.0 working just fine, but when he connects the 012e card the light flashes then goes out. Then we replaced the carrier and sent another 012e module. Tech says same problem.

Bad processor? Any other ideas?

Are you sure the ACS is R5 (or higher)? Dial Feature 59 from any display phone to verify the version. Also, is the 012E in slot 1?

My first response to this was that it wasn't a compatible processor, but the PM assured me it was an R5. Feature 59 did tell a different story. Should have started with that. Thanks.
