partitioning a clean disk

Hi, I got a problem partitioning disks on my Indy with fx.
I did it once after some hours or trying :) but now when I
wanted to partition another set of disks ,fx will not boot
anymore, it just hangs after displaying a set of numbers.
I cant even fx the disk that's already got a working set of Irix 6.5 installed.
I use:
boot -f dksc(0,6,8)sashARCS dksc(0,6,7)stand/fx.ARCS --x
as you can see on the screenshot it hangs right after that:
I cannot figure out why its not working anymore, I have no idea what is wrong , I think that boot -f line is what I used the first (and only) time I partitioned and installed irix 6.5...
ANY help is greatly appreciated
