Situation: When PC's were initially configured the drives were partitioned with C & D, C having minimal amount, about 4GB. Who ever loaded the PC’s failed to put the Program Files on the D drive.
My problem: Users are unable to access the network from this machine because the C drive is full and they are receiving the following error: Windows cannot log you on because the profile cannot be loaded.
Possible Solutions:
a) Will it be easier to repartitioned the NTFS drives using partition magic? Will this have a detrimental effect on the OS?
b) Can I Move the Programs folder to the D drive? Will this have a detrimental effect on those programs?
I am open to suggestions, thanks for any help rendered.
