At what size should you consider splitting a Netware partition? and A WAN map would be useful in designing which part of NDS tree?

Using NDS 6 or NDS 7, Novell recommends a maximum of 3000 objects. Using NDS 8, there are no firm recommendations however I understand that you can have partitions as big as 10,000 objects.

As far as your WAN map goes, I don't quite understand what you mean. If you mean what I think you mean, seperate partitions per site is a good idea so users do not authenticate over the WAN -----------------------------------------------------

ZENworks objects such as policies and applications do not really affect the size of the partition unless you have lots of them. If you import your workstations into NDS, this is when the size of your partition can grow. In this instance, it is usually advisable to have a seperate container for workstations that is partitioned off. -----------------------------------------------------
