Partition Query - Driving me nuts

I am attempting to use a partition query to produce an aged equipment report.

I set up a mock up attached that explains the problem better.

I can get the query to function fine, but suspect there may be instances where the columns may be omitted due to no values returned. I would like to fix the columns, 1: Cause I have never done it; 2: I reckon it will make making my report easier.

As far as I can tell I have correctly set up the column headings. My settings are "1: 3", "4: 6" etc the same as the query without column headings. However, the only column returning any records is my "10:" column. This suggests the column headings are incorrect. I tried various configurations and just can't get it to work. Anyone know how to correctly set them?

i'm not really sure what you mean by 'partition query.' i've never heard of that.

please paste your query/sql statement here so we can help. also, some sample data, and how your table is set up (field names).

GingerR see the ubiquitous {F1} with 'partition' as the key word ver 2k +.

Several 'aggegate' functions only return columns with values in "specified" fields, To force the other cols to appear, you need to create a seperate recordset (I will call it [ColHds] with the "list" of values and (left) JOIN the [ColHds] to the 'aggregate' (partion) query on the [ColHds].
